Middle name!

So we have been set on naming our baby boy Aedyn for about 5 weeks or so? Probably longer.

But we are still yet to agree on a middle name for him.

Aedyn was a good mix of mine and Jakes taste.

He likes more traditional names and I like more young and cool names.

So we have not found another name like that yet...

I really like Wyatt, Bentlee, Chance, & Maddox.

Bentlee is deffinately my favorite.

But Jake said he did like the name Chance but he didnt think it was right for his name.

So another no!

The only options Jake has brought up for a middle name are Reid and actually I think thats it.

I want to love his name! and I definately dont love Reid.

I havent come up with any more names that I like. I just keep trying to convince him to go with Bentlee.

He isn't coming up with anymore names either.

I dont know how he will get a middle name! I dont want it to get to the end and Jake be like o well, we didnt come up with a name, lets just name him after me.

Because that is what he wanted in the beginning, to have a JR.

& the scary thing is that if Rylee has been a boy I would have named the baby Jacob Jr.

I just dont like the idea of having 2 people the same name. I dont like the tradition of naming your baby after people.

Obviously everyone will know that he is his baby.

And I dont really want to budge on this because when I was pregnant with Rylee I really really wanted her to be named Khloe.

But he wouldnt have it. It meant more to me than I think he understood.

So I dont want to give in on his name if he isnt willing to do that for me.

I am just so ready to have his name complete...

I made the shirts I have been wanting to make since I found out I was pregnant.

One says Big sister Rylee

And the other says little brother Aedyn.

Theyre cute. It'll be good for pictures and keepsakes.

But I still have more shirts and letters and I want to make a shirt that says his first and middle name! So I am just waiting and looking for cool ideas!

Shopping!

I have been waiting for a couple of months to finally get to go shopping for Aedyn!
We got paid some extra money for staying with my Granny in the hospital.
So it really made me feel like it was ok to go spend some money.
But I really felt alot of anxiety about it weirdly.
I was really worried about spending so much money at one time even though I knew we were ok on money.
I had planned on buying him this 10 piece crib set for $70 on ebay, but when I got to the store I saw alot of blue & brown (my theme).
And I saw that I could buy everything seperately - like the bumper and sheet and everything to mix and match.
So I decided to do that. It was a little bit cheaper but I didn't get as much stuff so I didn't know what to do at first.
Jake was just trying to stay out of it and not help me make a decision because this was more for me than for him because I love to shop.
I got him a baby book and 2 pairs of little shoes, 2 Pajamas, -(I really tried to stay away from clothes becauase I THINK my mom will help me out with clothes.
And I already have some for him that I have bought from yard sales and consignment sales.
I also got him recieving blankets, passies, bibs, and i think thats it?
I don't know, it didn' seem like I got very much for my money, but I still had some left over out of the budget I made for this trip.
So it was over all a good trip, now I'm really excited to make his bed up and see it all come together.
